CTOMS is a leading provider of specialized tactical medicine training and products. They specialize in delivering cutting-edge training for first responders, military personnel, and healthcare professionals through unique training methodology and delivery, and innovative product development.

The challenge

CTOMS sought a modern and user-friendly learning management system (LMS) to streamline course enrollment and enhance the delivery of their specialized training programs. To achieve this, they required a platform that was intuitive, modern and user friendly. In addition, CTOMS had plans to expand into the Japanese market and required an LMS that would support the Japanese language.

The solution

By partnering with Base Corp., the SkillBuilder Team migrated the data from CTOMS’ previous platform to SkillBuilder^® LMS, which provided a modern, intuitive interface for both administrators and learners, allowing learners to easily enroll in classes and access training content.

Additionally, CTOMS worked with Base Corp. to customize SkillBuilder^® LMS with Japanese language capabilities, enabling CTOMS to launch the Tactical Trauma Care Essential – Japanese™ course.

The results

With the successful migration to SkillBuilder^® LMS and the addition of Japanese language support, CTOMS is now able to offer high-quality, online tactical medicine training to a broader, more diverse audience. The expansion into the Japanese market has positioned CTOMS for continued growth in international markets.
