Sherilynn Sabayo

Sherilynn graduated from Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in 2012 and since then has worked and trained in a number of early childhood education programs, working with children from infancy to school age. Sherilynn brings a wealth of experience to her role with BaseCorp, where she responds to enquiries from participants in the Early Childhood Education Orientation course, helps with the registration process and provides general program support.

Sherilynn has recently moved to Alberta from Ontario and, when asked about her personal philosophy as an Early Child Educator, suggested that children's brains are like sponges: they learn best through play and observation, and should be allowed to discover and explore their natural environment. Sherilynn has two active little boys at home who love going on new adventures, such as swimming or travelling. When she isn’t busy with them, you might find Sherilynn sprinting for track and field, or on the basketball or volleyball court.
